Who are we?
We are a liturgical drama group and much more.
What do we do?
Each year we write a new play on peace and justice issues that is suitable for a Sunday morning worship service or other events in the community.
We have also published a number of our plays and a resource guide describing our process for writing collaboratively. It contains a number original of skits and songs.
This year we are offering six plays:
GET UP!
Our new play called GET UP! is a call to get up, share God's love and end racism. We call white people to understand how systemic racism impacts the world. We believe we can grow as we learn while working together to create a just new world.
Women of the Greatest Generation tells the stories of women's lives during WW II in their own words. Nurses in combat, teenage plane spotters, rat tamers, black marketeers, USO dancers, refugees, war brides, children in Nazi Germany and Japan, and the moms, grandmothers, sisters, fiances and girl friends who kept the home fires burning ....Women of the greatest Generation.
Sticks and Stones calls us to end bullying in all forms. This play and our resources offer people of all ages clear and simple ways to identify bullying and work to end it.
Hey, Save the Earth shares true stories of people who are working to care for creation. It includes imaginary stories of birds and animals who want us to work with then to save the earth.
Just Love celebrates 35 years of Open and Affirming in the United Church of Christ. Meet the women and men who made it happen, and new folks who are keeping us moving forward.
I Love to Tell the Stories calls on Churches to become open and affirming, It tells the true stories of gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, same sex loving people and our allies.
